ROSEAU, Dominica, DFA-The Dominica Football Association will stage its second in a series of D License coaching courses commencing this Friday at the Football House at Bath Estate.
The three day event which will attract a total of 25 participants has been designed to target coaches working with the football academies around the island.
National Senior Men’s Team Head Coach Rajesh Joseph Latchoo and DFA’s Technical Director, Mr. Jerome Bardouille will serve as the instructors. The instructors will be assisted by Youth Development Officer Joffre Faustin and Wayne George who is the Women’s Coordinator.
The budding coaches will be exposed to a wide range of topics which will include the DFA’s vision for football development on the island. The coaches will also be engaged in a series of practical and theoretical sessions.
DFA President, Glen Etienne will address the participants at the opening which is scheduled to begin from 9:00am.
The first Local D License Course targeted coaches attached to the various clubs on the island and was held in July. The third and final course will target the sports teachers at the various primary schools in Dominica.
